Ada is a vibrant farm town in northwestern Minnesota with a population of 1,700. Our family has called Ada home for more than twenty-five years. In February of 2005, we established McCollum Hardware as an independent, family-owned, and operated business.

 

That same year, we became members of the United Hardware Distributing Co-op. This is currently our largest distributor and has allowed us to remain independent while still providing great products from over 30 other major distributors.

 

You will find many of today’s top brands and products at our store including appliances, pet supplies, tools, toys, hunting and fishing products, electrical, plumbing, and paint.

​We provide many services including computer paint matching, carpet cleaner rental, key cutting, DNR licensing, glass and screen repair, and welding gas and propane cylinder exchange.

 

Our business has been able to grow and adapt over the years with loyal support from the citizens of Ada and surrounding communities in Norman County and beyond. We have been blessed.
